Yango Driver FAQs — Nepal
Yango Driver FAQs — Nepal
Straight answers to what drivers ask us most at our Maharajgunj office. Registering with Yango through InnoHub Services is free, you need to be 18 or over, and you keep your own vehicle. If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp and a real person will reply during office hours.
Joining Yango through InnoHub
Yes. InnoHub Services registers you with Yango at no cost. There is no joining fee, no deposit and no commission charged by us for onboarding.
Message InnoHub on WhatsApp at +977 985-1445410 or visit our Maharajgunj office with your documents. We check your papers, help you complete the Yango Pro registration and select InnoHub Services as your fleet partner, then guide you until your account goes live.
Yes for most drivers — you ride or drive your own vehicle. If you do not have a motorcycle yet, ask us about bike rental; availability changes, so message us before you plan around it.
Yes. Existing Yango drivers can move to InnoHub. Bring your current account details to the office and we will walk you through the change.
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Nepali driving licence for the vehicle you intend to drive.
Documents and requirements
A valid driving licence for your vehicle type, the vehicle bluebook, valid vehicle insurance, a PAN card and a citizenship certificate. Bring the originals to the office; we take copies. See the full Yango driver requirements checklist.
No. A private (red) plate is accepted for Yango car driving in Kathmandu. You do not need a commercial yellow plate.
No. It can be in a family member’s name as long as the bluebook and insurance are valid and you have permission to use it.
Yango pays drivers through the formal system, and a PAN is required for tax reporting on those earnings. If you do not have one yet, we can point you to the process.
Expired insurance, an expired or unrenewed bluebook, and blurred document photos. Bring originals to the office and we check them before they are uploaded, which avoids most rejections.
Earnings and payments
Active bike riders in our fleet typically earn Rs. 3,200 to Rs. 4,500 a day. Your actual earnings depend on how many hours you ride, which areas you work and what time of day you go online.
Active car drivers in our fleet typically earn Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 8,000 a day. Fuel and maintenance come out of that, so plan around your net figure rather than the gross.
Weekly goal bonuses are currently paused. Yango moved to higher per-ride fares instead, so more of your income now comes from each trip rather than from hitting a weekly target. See the current bonus update.
Yes. InnoHub runs daily challenges for our drivers with a Rs. 2,500 prize. Ask at the office or on WhatsApp for the current challenge.
Yango pays drivers directly into your registered account; InnoHub does not hold or handle your earnings. Cash trips settle against your account inside the Yango Pro app. For a payment that has not arrived, contact Yango support and bring the details to our office if you need help chasing it.
Yes. Since Shrawan 1, 2083 (17 July 2026) ride-sharing platforms apply 5% VAT on applicable services, with 1% advance tax deducted on driver earnings. Read the full explanation in our guide to Yango driver tax.
Problems, accidents and support
First check your internet, then confirm location permission is on and the app is updated. If trip requests still do not arrive, bring your phone to our Maharajgunj office — many problems are settings rather than account issues. Our technical problem guide covers each case.
We can help with onboarding, documents, app settings and understanding what went wrong. Anything that needs access to the Yango platform itself — blocks, payment corrections, account reactivation — has to be resolved by Yango support, and we will help you raise it correctly.
Make sure everyone is safe and get medical help first, then inform Nepal Police, report the trip through Yango support, and keep every document and receipt. Full steps are in our guide on what to do after a road accident.
Report the accident, gather your police report, medical documents, bluebook, licence and trip details, then submit the claim through the relevant insurer. Deadlines apply, so start immediately. See our insurance claim guide, and bring your paperwork to the office if you want help preparing it.
It is usually one of four things: you are outside a demand area, your app or GPS is misconfigured, your account status has changed, or the time of day is simply quiet. Our guides on order distribution and priority level explain how orders are assigned.
Training, rental and workshop
Yes. We run weekly sessions of about two to three hours covering road safety, using the Yango Pro app properly, customer service and how earnings work. Details on the driver training page.
Any InnoHub driver, and anyone considering joining Yango. There is no charge for our drivers. Message us on WhatsApp for the next session date.
Rental is available depending on what we have in stock. Ask on WhatsApp for current availability, terms and what you need to bring — see the bike rental page.
We can advise on keeping your vehicle road-ready and point you to workshop support. Come to the office and ask.
